Heshima supports projects in West-Africa and in East-Africa.

2009 was marked by the major projects in Mukuru Cameroon.  The Health Center was succesfully opened and the staff training conducted.  the Center will be embedded in the national health system, warranting continuity. Heshima will seek to continue the relationship with Mukuru in the coming years, mainly focussed on income generating projects.  

A commitment was made to further development of the Special Needs Education Centre in Uganda in the coming year as well

Heshima is still looking for new projects for 2010.
